KHORI PAIGE LOWTHER & CLAY LESLIE TODD THE BRIDE IS FROM JANE LEW; THE GROOM IS FROM OAKLAND, MARYLAND. ENGAGEMENT DATE : 11.3.19 WEDDING DATE : 8.15.20 khori and clay met in a communications class when both were attending West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. She was a new freshman and he was a sophomore, and the pair finished the class without any sparks flying between them. Their paths crossed again when Khori was a junior and Clay was set to graduate soon. He was president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on campus, and Khori signed up to volunteer with the group on an anti-bullying campaign in Harrison County schools. Clay participated, too, sparks finally flew, and a first date soon followed. A year after their first date, Clay arranged for friends and family to witness his wedding proposal to Khori. She enthusiastically agreed to become his wife, and the pair set out planning their summer 2020 wedding. WHERE THEY RESIDE Buckhannon

nicole, a native of shady spring, met Joseph, originally from White Sulphur Springs, in her last year of law school. She befriended the groom-to-be’s sister, who introduced the pair at a West Virginia University football game. Nicole and Joseph have been inseparable since, and her best friend from law school—Morgan—will soon be her sister, too. One Thursday evening, Joseph and Nicole took an ATV ride out to the edge of his farm. He got off of the vehicle and dropped to one knee. He asked Nicole for her hand in marriage, and she enthusiastically obliged. The couple lives in Frankford, where Nicole works as a lawyer and Joseph as an engineer.
