Le but d’Ecolomondo est d’avoir une planète plus propre et durable par la réduction et le recyclage des déchets d’hydrocarbures, ce qui est possible avec la technologie PDT. L’installation PDT de Hawkesbury sera la première de son genre et sera construite sur la rue Tessier. Ecolomondo, a Montreal-based company, has recently announced that it has selected Maylan Group Inc. of Hawkesbury to construct the new building that will house its new Thermal Decomposition Process (TDP) turnkey facility, to be located on Tessier Street in Hawkesbury. Ecolomondo and Maylan have recently signed a binding design- build contract with a not-to-exceed price of $6.6 million, with substantial completion expected by January 15, 2020. According to Hawkesbury’s Chief Administrative Officer Daniel Gatien, the facility is expected to create 40 new jobs once completed, in addition to the jobs created for its construction.
