Kristina led the organization from 2005- 2010 and is currently the executive director of Sustainable Eastern Ontario. LES VTT MAINTENANT PERMIS SUR LE CHEMIN DROUIN
Les VTT pourront désormais circuler sur une section du chemin Drouin, du chemin Russell jusqu’à la forêt Larose. C’est ce qu’a récemment décidé le conseil municipal. « Les Comtés avaient suggéré de choisir le chemin St-Félix, a déclaré le maire de Clarence-Rockland Guy Desjardins. Mais je leur ai dit qu’on devrait plutôt choisir le chemin Drouin. » Le conseiller pour le quartier 5, André J. Lalonde, s’est dit perplexe. « Il y a juste un sentier là, qui dessert les motoneiges, le ski de randonnée, les traineaux à chiens et la raquette, a-t-il expliqué. « Il n’y a pas de sentier pour les VTT. » Le maire a vite répliqué que les conducteurs de VTT n’utiliseraient probablement pas ce sentier. « Ça ne veut pas dire qu’ils vont aller sur le même sentier. » —photo Francis Racine COUNTIES SNOW REMOVAL BUDGET SECURE The mid-November snowfall now has the public works director for the counties keeping watch on what remains of his snow removal budget for the year. Adjustments were made to the budget setup in preparation of the start of the 2018-2019 winter season. The 2018 UCPR budget included $4,280,000 for snow removal on counties roads during the year. That includes $2.1 million for supplies, $1.3 million for equip- ment use, $795,000 for employee wages BOECFOFàUTDPWFSBHF BOE GPS other services and rental needs.
