At Barstow Unified School District, our greatest strength is our dedicated staff. As the school year concludes, we pause to say: thank you. Your work—in classrooms, on campus, in transportation, and in administrative roles—is an immeasurable commitment to Barstow’s future. Your effort, from late-night lesson plans to supportive conversations, is the backbone of BUSD, ensuring students feel seen and supported. To show our appreciation, every BUSD staff member will receive a special gift this month. Look for this token of gratitude at your school site or department office; it’s a small reminder that your efforts are deeply valued by the Board of Education and District Leadership. Your commitment drives our district forward.
To celebrate our BUSD family, we are hosting an Appreciation Picnic this May and inviting all staff to bring their immediate families.
