Step by Step training guide for category C (Class2)
1. Medical The medical is the first step towards starting the training. We can manage and guide drivers through the whole process, including organising a medical appointment at a time and location that is convenient. 2. Provisional Licence We will send drivers the forms that are needed to apply for the provisional licence and explain how to complete them. Once completed, this form and the medical form needs to be sent to the DVLA to get the provisional entitlement added to the drivers licence. 3. Theory Preparation When the medical has been undertaken and the provisional application forms have been sent to the DVLA, we will send the book and DVD Rom for the theory tests and advise if the initial Driver CPC case study theory test is required. This means drivers can start to revise whilst waiting for the provisional licence to be processed. 4. Theory Tests With the introduction of the Driver CPC there are now up to three theory tests to pass, these are multiple choice, hazard perception and case study (case study relevant for post 97 licence holders). You cannot book your theory tests until you have your provisional licence back from the DVLA.
