A New Chapter for Bladon House School We are pleased to welcome David Braybrooke as the new Head Teacher of Bladon House School, marking an exciting new chapter for the school, the young people, families and colleagues who make up its community. Set within the Staffordshire countryside, Bladon House School provides specialist education and care for young people aged 5 to 19 with autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties and associated behavioural needs. Recognised for its highly personalised approach, combining specialist teaching, therapeutic support and enriching experiences, Bladon House School helps young people develop confidence, independence and the skills they need for adult life. Looking ahead, David shared a few words about his vision for the future of the school: "As Headteacher, I am delighted to introduce you to a school where every young person is valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are proud to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment in which
pupils feel safe, respected and inspired to learn."
Across the school, these values are reflected in both learning and daily life. Young people benefit from a broad range of opportunities, including Forest School, animal care, adventurous activities, vocational learning and specialist therapeutic support, all designed to help them thrive academically, socially and emotionally. We recognise that every child is unique. Our specialist SEND curriculum is carefully designed to meet individual needs, enabling pupils to make progress academically, socially and emotionally. David's appointment is an exciting development for Bladon House School and the wider SENAD Group. His commitment to excellence, inclusion and individual progress reflects the qualities that make Bladon House School such a special place, and we look forward to supporting him as he leads the school into its next chapter.
