He has played a key role in mentoring MPI leaders, advancing manufac- turing technologies, and supporting strategic growth initiatives while main- taining a relentless focus on customer satisfaction and product quality. Sun Chemical Launches SolarFlex FSP UV Flexo Inks Brenda Rodriquez Sun Chemical has launched an upgraded SolarFlex FSP UV flexographic ink range for label and packaging manu- facturers, designed to offer a food-compliant solution that meets evolving regulatory requirements. According to the company, the upgraded formulation meets or exceeds the requirements of the German Ink Or- dinance (GIO) and the Swiss Ink Ordinance (SIO) through selected raw materials and low migration performance. It is suitable for labels, sleeves and packaging applications. Intense Color The range is available in standard and intense four-col- or, expanded color gamut process inks, as well as high- strength mono-pigmented blending colors. The SolarFlex FSP UV flexo inks have undergone tri- als and validations at key label and packaging custom- ers across Europe, including migration testing and odor assessments at printing speeds above 200 meters per minute.
