Paramount Liquor, your trusted Lion wholesaler in Tasmania Paramount Liquor launched in Tasmania in April, and this new partnership with Lion signals the next phase of how the business services Tasmania’s hospitality industry. From 24 August, Paramount will begin distributing Lion’s full range of kegs and packaged products across the state, taking on an operation that puts one of Australia’s largest beverage companies through Paramount’s own warehouse and delivery network in Tasmania. Australia’s largest independent, family-owned liquor wholesaler, Paramount has been a trusted partner to hospitality for over 30 years, combining national scale with a hands-on local approach. Across the country, the business supplies more than 18,000 products to over 15,000 venues and retailers, drawing on strong supplier relationships and proven systems to simplify supply for venues. This allows hospitality teams to focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences rather than chasing stock. For venues across Tasmania, that means access to the same buying power, range and technology already backing operators right around the country, now delivered locally.

Paramount is also welcoming Yasmine Alexiou, Key Accounts Manager, and John Coumessos, Connect Portfolio Manager, to the team, both ready to support Tasmanian venues from day one. “We’re excited to partner with Lion on this one. We’ve done this before, and having already run the same program successfully in South Australia, we’re well placed to make the switch smooth for Lion and for the venues we both serve,” said Chris Brown, GM at Paramount Liquor. From 24 August, Tasmanian venues can order the complete Lion range, kegs and packaged product alike, directly through Paramount, with empty keg removal included as part of the service. Its dedicated local team is ready to support.

The move follows a similar transition in South Australia last year, where Paramount took on the same role for Lion and refined the model, and has run it with resounding success since. Paramount is proud to support Tasmania from right here in Tasmania, and local support means exactly that. Orders are fulfilled from their newly established Moonah warehouse by Paramount’s in-house operations team, then delivered by its locally based, in-house drivers, a fully local service designed to get venues what they need, faster and more reliably.
