Mitutoyo’s long working-distance objectives are grouped by working wavelength range: ultraviolet, near-ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared. The M Plan UV series (for ultraviolet), M Plan Apo NUV series (for near-ultraviolet), and M Plan Apo NIR series (for near-infrared) are designed especially for YAG laser working applications in cutting thin films.
