Clonakilty Park Adventure Centre, located on the grounds of the Clonakilty Park Hotel in West Cork, offers a thrilling mix of activities for all ages, including a two‑level aerial trekking high‑ropes course, a climbing tower, a 65 ft power‑fan jump and a 100m zip line. Visitors can traverse cables, swing across logs and tackle vertical cargo nets at heights ranging from 17ft to 40ft, while younger adventurers and families can also enjoy the maritime‑themed 18‑hole adventure golf course. Fully trained staff provide safety briefings, harness fittings and encouragement throughout the experience, making it a popular choice for families, birthday parties, school groups and corporate outings. Advance booking is recommended, and participants must be at least 1.2m tall.

The Historic Stroll in Old Kinsale offers a vivid, entertaining journey through the town’s remarkable past, from its medieval origins to its role as a strategic naval base and trading hub. Guided by Don Herlihy or Barry Moloney, the walk brings to life pivotal events such as the 1601 Battle of Kinsale, the stopovers of explorers like Dampier and Robinson Crusoe, and the tragedy of the Lusitania. Dursey Boat Trips offer exhilarating 90‑minute Sea Safari tours from April to September, exploring the wild beauty of the Beara Peninsula, Dursey Island and incredible Bull Rock, with local guides sharing stories of the region’s heritage, lighthouses and islands. Travelling through rich feeding grounds, passengers can watch for whales, dolphins, basking sharks, seals, otters and seabirds such as gannets and puffins, while passing dramatic natural arches and historic sites. Suitable for individuals, families and groups, with early‑morning and evening departures available, they also offer custom tours on request.
Ireland’s only cable car and the only one to cross open seawater in Europe, the Dursey Cable Car, connects the island to the mainland. A marked walking trail takes you on a 14km loop of the island. Dursey is a favourite for whale, dolphin and bird watchers and also boasts many historical features. The cable car runs continuously back and forth daily, year-round. Space on the cable car is limited with the trip of 374 metres taking 7.5 minutes each way.
