Dzogchen Beara Buddhist Meditation Centre, perched high on the cliffs of the Beara Peninsula near Allihies, welcomes visitors year‑round to its serene setting of sweeping Atlantic views, coastal meadows, peaceful gardens and an amazing new temple. Emerald Outdoors offers guided kayaking and paddleboarding tours on the sheltered waters of Kenmare Bay, allowing visitors to explore hidden channels, historic waterways and the wild coastal landscape in an eco‑friendly way. With waterproof and windproof tops provided, participants stay warm and dry while encountering wildlife up close – including a friendly seal colony – and enjoying peaceful stretches of untouched nature framed by mountain silhouettes and seabirds overhead.
