Une vie après le junior majeur pour Mathieu Lemay

que cinq parties, mais l’ailier droit avait ensuite gagné en puissance à l’offensive, devenant un pilier de l’attaque de Rouyn- Noranda, et même le meilleur marqueur et pointeur de l’équipe lors de la saison 2014-2015, avec une fiche impressionnante de 44 buts et 39 mentions d’aide. Repêché en cinquième ronde par les Huskies en 2010, l’ancien porte-couleurs des Vikings de Saint-Eustache a joué 255 parties dans le junior, amassant 180 points, dont 86 buts. Il a décoché 711 lancers sur la cage adverse, ce qui lui a permis de marquer 22 buts en avantage numérique et 17 buts gagnants.
L’ancien attaquant des Huskies de Rouyn-Noranda, le Grenvillois Mathieu Lemay, participera prochainement au camp de développement des Blues de Saint-Louis. Il s’agira d’une occasion en or pour l’athlète de 20 ans de se faire valoir, lui qui n’a pas été repêché durant sa carrière dans le junior majeur. Pour la saison 2015-2016, Lemay fera le saut dans les rangs universitaires (SIC), avec les Patriotes de l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. Le numéro 17 a connu une belle carrière dans la Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec (LHJMQ). À ses débuts, durant la saison 2010-2011, il n’avait disputé
Mathieu Lemay, dans l’uniforme des Huskies.
