Whether you’re looking for a classic single scoop, a sundae, a banana split, or an ice cream float, you’re certain to find something you like on their menu. SOUTHBOUND FOOD FESTIVAL RETURNS TO BIRMINGHAM THIS SEPTEMBER You know you live in the South when there’s an entire festival dedicated to everything Southern, from the fried chicken and barbecue to the gospel music and more. The Southbound Food Festival is an award-winning ten-day celebration highlighting what is, arguably, the best and most important thing in the South: the food culture. THE WELL & CO. OPENS IN VESTAVIA HILLS: NEW COFFEE SHOP & HOME BOUTIQUE Finding a local coffee shop in the heart of Vestavia Hills just got a whole lot easier. The Well & Co., located at 425 Montgomery Highway, Suite 119 in Park South Plaza, just opened, bringing together specialty coffee and a thoughtfully curated home décor and gift boutique under one roof. Open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the new shop was created to be a welcoming place where the community can gather and make everyday moments feel special. “We hope this becomes a place where people choose to gather, celebrate life’s everyday moments, and create memories with the people they love,” says co-founder Claire Holmberg. The Well & Co. began in 2023 as an antique booth before growing into a series of pop-up shops and eventually a mobile boutique. Today, the storefront features everything from cozy blankets and candles to affordable home décor, many items priced under $20. On the coffee side, guests can enjoy locally roasted Cala coffee, signature drinks like the Maple Sea Salt Latte, and pastries from The Last Call Bakery—all while relaxing in a cozy space designed to feel more like a living room than a coffee shop.
