What I did: I worked as a financial representative who worked with clients to help them create a financial plan. My day-to-day consisted of reaching out and meeting with potential clients to discuss investments, insurance, retirement planning, etc. and how those things together build a solid financial plan. Every person you meet is different and I enjoy the challenge of building a plan that suits them best. I’ve also learned so much from meeting people and having conversations with my mentors. What I liked: I think the office atmosphere is one of the best things about Northwestern Mutual. Everyone in the office is super helpful and they all root for you to succeed. Future Dream Job: Right now, I think I’m in my dream job. I always wanted to help people and now I’ve found a career I love that allows me to do that.
