The proposed amendment is a general amendment which will result in revisions to the policies and to the schedules in the County Official Plan to provide guidance and direction to growth and development, redevelopment and/or conservation in the United Counties in compliance with the Provincial Policy Statement. A key map is not required as the proposed Official Plan Amendment is applicable to all properties located within the corporate limits of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell will be holding Open Houses on • Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the City of Clarence-Rockland Town Hall located at 1560 Laurier Street, Rockland, Ontario; • Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Nation Municipality Town Hall located at 958 Route 500 West, Casselman, Ontario; and • Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the United Counties of Prescott and Russell Administrative Building located at 59 Court Street, L’Orignal, Ontario.
