Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, on Tuesday September 25th, 2012 with his family by his side, Bill Beekers of Hawkesbury passed away at the age of 60. Beloved son of Irene Beekers (the late Martin). Loving husband of Carole Sabourin. Dearly loved and proud father of Kees (Amy), Keegan, Christopher and Melody. Dear brother of Freda Stewart (Bill) and Huck Beekers (Joanne). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Those who wish are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Saturday September 29th, 2012, at 11 a.m., at St. Alphonse Catholic Cemetery, 340 Front Road East, Hawkesbury, ON. In memory of Bill, a donation to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center, 737 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, ON, K1Y 1J8 would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, ON, K0B 1R0, 613 678-2002. GERALD SHAWMac KIMMIE Died peacefully at the Ste. Anne’s Veteran Hospital, on September 15, 2012, at the age of 91. Survived by his beloved wife Muriel Claridge and his daughter Laurie Katznelson (Steve Katznelson) and grandchildren Sarah, Emily and Jake Katznelson and Meaghan Mac Kimmie. Also survived by his sister June Mac Kimmie (Skinner) and brother Cameron Mac Kimmie. Predeceased by his sisters Isabel Graham (John), Joan (Parks) and Annabelle, also his brothers Dr John Mac Kimmie and Donald Mac Kimmie (Joan). He was laid to rest at the “Field of Honor”, a Veteran’s cemetery at Pointe-Claire, Montréal, QC.
