Europeans, while the fertility rates are among the lowest in the world. These factors, such as high youth unemployment, low wages and low social support, directly restrict autonomy. The psychological perspectives that belong to the theories of individualism-collectivism (Triandis, 1995) and the theory of self-construction (Markus & Kitayama 1991) aim to capture different patterns. The psychological perspectives belonging to the theories of individualism-collectivism (Triandis, 1995) and the theory of self-construction (Markus and Kitayama, 1991) seek to cover different aspects. It is called to assume that in societies labeled as collectivists, like Mexico, there are people who share collectivist values and points of view. Regarding free time, Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas. (2024) questionnaire showed conclusive data on how the moments designated for relaxation are managed. 65.7% of those surveyed say they are satisfied with how much free time they have and 32.9% said they are partially or not at all satisfied. Preferences differ, 86.7% say they are very or quite interested in music, another 81.6% prefer cultural tradition and 78.8% prefer reading. In this context, 88.2% of those surveyed claimed that they are interested in learning about traditions, culture and art from other countries and 48.8% are interested in Spanish music rather than foreign music compared to the 50.1% who prefer foreign music. Thus, 83.1% say they are quite satisfied with their lives and only 10.8% feel little or not at all satisfied. The essential factors for their lives are: 97.5% culture, 95.7% financial security and 90.1% a satisfying work life. Regarding the financial side of free time, 22.2% of those questioned say that access to cultural activities is restrictive due to high prices, 18.7% say that they do not have time for this type of concern and 16.8% do not participate because they do not have information on this subject. As for children and adolescents, 49.2% said that they read in their free time as a recreational activity and 48.5% said that they often go to the movies. However, in this context, it was found that of the parents surveyed, 32.7% of mothers read for pleasure frequently and 25.7% of fathers practice this activity in their free time.
