Security 1. Packages & Parcels
No packages, articles of clothing, parcels, paper bags, etc. may be taken out of the hotel unless the employee is in possession of a valid gate pass for the package, signed by their division head. Security personnel have the right at all times to open and inspect the contents of such packages. 2. Gate Pass Employees may not remove any hotel property regardless of the value from the hotel without prior written authorization from their respective service executive or the General Manager/resident manager. Unauthorized removal of hotel property and or attempt to remove property of the company without proper authorization is a very serious offence and may lead to dismissal of the employee. All items that are to be taken out of the hotel including lost and found items, gifts from guests or items sent out for repair etc, will need a returnable or non- returnable gate pass as the case may be complete in all aspects with all the necessary approval. 3. Right to Search As and when required, the employee while entering, leaving or whilst inside the hotel premises, may be subject to routine, cursory or suspected search by the hotel’s security personnel or by any other person authorized by the Human Resources Manager / assistant Director of Human Resources. As and when required, the employee’s personal locker may be subject to a full search by the hotel’s security personnel in coordination with the Human Resources Manager / assistant Director of Human Resources or the executive on duty. 4. Lost and Found Any money or property found on the hotel premises must be handed over immediately to the housekeeping department with full details of the item being logged into the ‘lost and found log book’. 5. Theft Theft or an attempt to commit theft of any property from the hotel; whether belonging to the hotel, guests or other employees, will result in immediate dismissal. This includes unauthorized consumption of or taking away of food and beverage from the kitchen or food and beverage restaurants.
