District 7 - Anne Arundel
• District Court in Anne Arundel County moved all bail reviews to the Annapolis location during the COVID-19 phased reopening. This assisted the Office of the Public Defender by providing sufficient time for interviews, and engaging the staff to be prepared and present.
• On December 16, the Anne Arundel County District Court Drug and DUI Treatment Court celebrated 10 graduates. Judge Thomas J. Pryal, District Court in Anne Arundel County , presided. The program began 24 years ago in 1997, and in 2005, a program for DUI infractions was added. Since its inception, more than 1,000 individuals have graduated from the program.
