First Friday of Each Month 7:00 - 8:30 pm (note time change to Spring/Summer) Anny’s Sing Along - Ongoing Series You’re invited to join us at Anny’s Sing Along : a campfire-style gathering in the Courtyard at the Community Center on the first Friday of each month from 7 - 8:30 pm . The Monthly Singalong where every voice is appreciated and welcomed as a necessary part of the chorus. Come with a friend or on your own and come as you are. The goal is to sing commonly known songs. Singers can join in on the chorus so no songbooks needed though folks are welcome to read words either from a song- book (e.g, Rise Up Singing) or on their phone. We sing everything from You Are My Sunshine & This Land is Your Land to Hey Jude, Hotel California, and Freight Train, with lots in between depending on what wants to come through. For sure some Kate Wolf too… Perhaps we shall sing a well-known, simple round, “Dona Nobis”, which means ‘Give us Peace.” Lifting our voices together in the songs of our common decades does just that, and in such an easeful way.

San Geronimo Valley Historical Society by Owen Clapp At a time when conversations about migration and identity can feel polarized, literature invites us to slow down and listen. On April 25, we hope you will join us—not only to hear an extraordinary writer, but to gather as neighbors in thoughtful reflection. Your presence helps sustain the kind of community we strive to cultivate: one rooted in empathy, curiosity, and the transformative power of story. In keeping with our commitment to accessibility, tickets for the main event are offered on a sliding scale from $15 to $45. We believe meaningful cultural expe- riences should be available to all, and flexible pricing helps ensure a diverse and welcoming room. This collaboration with Canal Alliance and Book Passage reflects a shared dedica- tion to literacy, immigrant support, and vibrant local partnerships. When com- munity organizations align around common values, the impact extends beyond a single evening—it strengthens the fabric of the valley and the larger Marin Community. viewer and longtime member of our Community Center team—the evening promises both literary insight and genuine dialogue. The conversation will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Community Center. An exclusive pre-event reception begins at 5:00 PM, offering guests a more per- sonal opportunity to connect with Zamora.
