12.4.4 Publish or Post facts and statistics

There are ways to recognize your team members and get results without even spending any money. Posting “record” highs (or lows) in areas such as cancellation rate, route revenue, number of consecutive days of perfect attendance, number of consecutive days with no complaints. Your team members may try harder if there is a record to break. Remember “What gets measured gets managed.” Suggestions for key indicators to track:

• Cancellation Rate by team • Route Utilization by team • Happy Customer notes • Route Revenue by team • Customer Compliments • Employee of the month • Team of the month
