Rosanna Zamudio, Administrative Assistant

Rosanna started working with Orange County Parks & Recreation in 2016 after being out of the work force for several years, and about to become an “ empty nester ”. Rosanna likes to spend her free time with her two grandsons and considers any day at a baseball game a good day. What she enjoys most about working in Parks and Recreation is interacting with the community, whether it ’ s selling discount Kings Dominion or Regal Cinema movie tickets, or working special events like Playin ’ the Park or Michael ’ s Mile. Rosanna says, “ I have seen Parks & Recreation achieve great success throughout the years and I am excited to continue to be a part of future achievements. ”

Steve Boyer, Parks Maintenance Worker

Steve began working with Orange County Parks & Recreation in 2015 as a Parks Maintenance Worker. Since then, Steve has been a staple of the department and is often seen cutting the grass at Booster Park. Outside of Orange County Parks & Recreation, Steve has been a career and volunteer fire fighter for 47 years, and currently volunteers at the Orange Volunteer Fire Company where he holds the rank of Assistant Fire Chief. In his free time, Steve is an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and loves to cut grass. Steve ’ s favorite part about working in Parks & Recreation is getting to work outside and fix things.

Zach Douthit, Parks Maintenance Worker

Zach started working with Orange County Parks & Recreation in March 2023. Zach currently attends Germanna Community College and hopes to one day become a published author. In his free time, he enjoys reading, specifically science - fiction novels. Zach ’ s favorite part about working in Parks & Recreation is the relaxing atmosphere.
