Message from Annette
Greetings Burpengary Manor Community, As all of you who visit are aware there is major road works occurring at the front of the facility. Woolworths is building a new centre on the corner
of Buckley Rd and Ullman Road. This has impacted us quite a bit including the parking around the facility. We have just been informed that the car parking that was on the street will not be replaced, and this is unfortunate, but we were not given any information about this previously. I do send out emails to a lot of you so please keep any eye out for those as I will update you with as much information as possible when I can. With the chilly days I need to remind you all that knitted jumpers and cardigan still have to go through a commercial wash, so they are not always suitable for residents in aged care facilities. Any new items also need to be dropped off at admin office so that the items can be labelled for you residents before they are placed in the wardrobes. It is great to see the residents enjoying themselves with the planned activities as well as some spontaneous activities that occur on a day, their smiles are what we all work towards while being with them in their home.
