Community Happenings Autumn Autumn at Burpengary Manor has been a season of joy, growth, reflection and celebration. Across March, April and May, our community embraced every opportunity to come together; whether through music, gardening, special events or visits. From the buzz of Harmony Week to the peacefulness of Anzac Day, and from the laughter of St. Patrick’s Day games to the warm hugs of Mother’s Day, this season has shown the heart of Burpengary: connected, caring, and thriving. Scenic Adventures & Social Outings Autumn was full of breathtaking views and community connection as residents travelled near and far. March brought scenic trips to Bribie Island, Woodford, Peachester and Beerwah, with the warmth of sun and sea air topped off by sweet McDonald's treats. In April, we ventured along the Redcliffe coastline and took in peaceful views. May featured trips to Maleny, Beachmere, and a cheerful outing to Donnybrook and Toorbul, filled with nature, laughter and discovery. These shared adventures remind us that joy truly grows when it’s shared.
Memory Support Moments Our Memory Support team continued to offer enriching and creative programs throughout the season. Residents enjoyed music therapy with Grace, bingo, crafts, garden projects, and engaging games. They contributed immensely to the development of our new greenhouse, adding energy and pride to the process. Special moments included Easter-themed activities, interactive cognitive games, and quiet sessions of knitting and pot decorating —always with purpose, care and laughter.
