Message from David
Hello families and friends of our Burpengary Manor residents, We are delighted to invite you to celebrate NAIDOC Week with us on Friday, 4th July, we will be doing a bus trip to Caboolture Town Square
at 10:00 AM as we honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Families are warmly welcome to meet us there and share in this meaningful event. As part of our ongoing commitment to celebrating cultural diversity, each month we explore a different culture with themed morning tea in the café, where residents enjoy tasting traditional foods. This is followed by armchair travel in the activity room—an immersive experience exploring the sights and sounds of different countries. We’re also excited to announce that the Henny Penny chickens will be arriving at Burpengary Manor on 4th August. Residents and families are invited to come and watch these adorable chicks hatch and grow—it’s a heart-warming experience for all ages. Additionally, we are thrilled to welcome the Rothwell School kindy children on 10th July. The children will be visiting our residents throughout the morning, bringing joy, laughter, and a wonderful opportunity for intergenerational connection. We look forward to sharing these special moments with you! We’re always striving to make our activity program even better. If you have any ideas, feedback, or suggestions, we’d love for you to share them with us. David & The Lifestyle Team
