BURY (May 2026) – Fire Door Maintenance (FDM) Training and Development is proud to have been announced as a finalist in the Training Company of the Year and Managing Director of the Year categories at this year’s National Fenestration Awards, which will take place on the 24th of October at The Doncaster Racecourse and Hilton Garden Inn. Since the state-of-the-art training centre opened its doors in February 2024, FDM have trained over 1,500 professionals, from architects and installers to landlords and responsible persons, and has forged partnerships with 60 leading industry collaborators. Founded to meet the growing need for high-quality fire door training, FDM Training and Development ensures professionals across the sector have the
skills and confidence they need to meet evolving fire safety regulations. Nicola John, FDM’s Managing Director, comments: ‘We’re thrilled to be a finalist in this year’s NFA awards, as it really shows the support and encouragement we have as a training centre from everyone across the fenestration sector and how much practical training and competence are valued.
