F riday night at the Rocky Mountain Nationals get ready for the “Terra Surfers” an instrumental ‘surf band’ that plays an upbeat and enter- taining mix of classic surf music on vintage-style electric guitars and drums. Formed in late 2024, they have played at festivals and car shows spreading their sound that is part classic ‘60s style surf from Dick Dale, “The Chantays,” “The Ventures” and part modern original music featur- ing lush “drippy wet” spring reverb, big drums, soaring guitar melodies and exotic tones. The band kicks off at 7pm and plays till 10pm in the amphi-theater. On Saturday night step into the world of “The Front Range Cowboys,” where music meets passion at the Rocky Mountain Nationals. They are dedicated to delivering unforgettable performanc- es that resonate with your soul and gets your boots dancing. Their story begins with Jeff Goodwin playing gigs in Golden, the Denver metro area and the broader front range, and involved various settings from solo performances to playing on the big stage with a full band. The popularity of the country music set led to a following of country enthusiasts and the two-step and line-dancing crowd. “We are excited to continue to grow the movement and create memorable live music performances.” Immerse yourself in the ultimate country music experi- ence with the Front Range Cowboys. “From classic hits to original tunes, we bring the best of country music to life.” Jeff Goodwin was the “2025 Male Vocalist of the Year” and was inducted into the Colorado Country Hall of Fame. Jeff and the Front Range Cowboys will take the stage at 7pm and play until 10pm. Adult & Kids Games This year at the Rocky Mountain Nationals the game area will be in the Hall of Agriculture starting at 10am on Saturday for both adults and kids. The Canon City Car Club will be coordinating the games and the coloring
