A t every NSRA show you’ll see guys and gals walking around or working in the NSRA Membership booth wearing blue and white shirts that say “Official.” The blue-shirt staff consists of State Representatives, Advisors, Division Directors, and the National Field Director, plus all the NSRA full-time staff. These volunteers are the eyes and ears of NSRA, telling NSRA what the members need and what they want. Of course, their job isn’t just to listen, but also to tell people about how awesome rodding
the events, or learning about new trends and/or legislation. Basically, your State Rep and Advisor are your friend for all things NSRA and, to some extent, all things when it comes to rodding anything. If you’re an outgoing rodder and this sounds like something you’d like to do, go talk to a guy in the blue (or red) shirt and they’ll get you talking to the right people. Thank you to all the rodders who wear or have worn the ‘blue’ shirt for all you’ve done to keep rodding alive.

Craig and Heidi Press out of Bedford, Pennsylvania, have been great additions to the NSRA family. Craig got his sweet ’66 Chevelle when he heard about an unfinished one at the Street Rod Nationals East. After some checking around, Craig was bringing home a fresh convertible version. The slick drop-top sits right on the stock suspension and goes with the desirable
350hp, 396ci that’s Hurst shifted with a M-21 manual tranny. The Hot Rod Interiors upholstery glows in ivory with factory air-conditioning and it rolls on silver 15-inch Rally wheels while shining in custom Marina Blue paint over flawless bodywork.
