TIM DANIEL Florida State Representative

Tim Daniel out of Tampa, Florida, certainly racks up the miles on his ’32 Ford roadster he bought and has been perfecting for the last eight years. He pretty much makes a yearly cruise up the coast to the Street Rod Nationals East to hang with family. His sweet little ’32 Ford roadster features built Chevy 355ci SBC power, a highway friendly 700R4 overdrive automatic, a forged I-beam located with split wishbones, a one-piece fiberglass glass top, a tri-angulated 4-bar rear, and 15-inch steelies spinning Firestone bias-ply rubber. Clarke Pringle straightened out the body, hid the hinges, laid down the orange basecoat/clearcoat, made the one-piece fiberglass top with a fold-out rear window, and did the interior in tan vinyl. Love the roadster, love the attitude, and hope to see you for years to come!

CHARLES BRANDT New Jersey State Representative Chic Brandt out of Millville, New Jersey, has been rodding his ’37 Chevrolet two-door for 44 years. The hammered sedan runs a Chevy ZZ3 with Corvette tuned- port induction, Mustang II IFS, 9- inch Ford rear differential and four-wheel power disc brakes. Chic smoothed out the body, chopped the top 3 1/2 inches, made a custom hood, shaved almost everything, and painted it all Mulberry Magenta Red.

Moving inside he stitched a gray interior with power buckets and all the luxury (PW, PDL, PS, and A/C). The rod currently is finished off with 18/20-inch Billet Specialities hoops wearing Hankook rubber. Love the top chop and the dedication to one rod, hope to see you cruising through the year.

RICHARD JOHNSON Illinois State Representative It’s hard for those who know Richard Johnson to even think of him as being anyone other than “Pumpkin.” Pumpkin and Melinda (his wife of 48 years) have put over 240,000 miles on their ’23 Ford T- Bucket, raised three daughters all riding in it, and the whole family has had the street rod apart and together more times than they can count. The rod is your basic Deluxe Total Performance T-Bucket kit with tube-axle front suspension on a 2x3 rectangle frame, front disc brakes, and Chevy 385ci SBC power with a TH350 tranny. Pumpkin and family cleaned up the bodywork before he laid down the ’79 Ford truck orange, and Chris Cherry did the interior/top. I loved Pumpkin from the time he came on the NSRA team, and I love a good family gone rodding across the country in a roadster 25 times!
