Ty Boggs and his wife are from El Cajon, California, and their pair of chopped “A” coupes appeared spread across the TOC of our February 2026 issue. Included in the photos was this outstanding shot of ‘her’ yellow/orange ‘31 Ford street ‘hot’ rod running Goodrich whitewalls and chrome
smoothies with spider caps glowing under the lights.
Don Gross provided very little information about his Cover Photo Contest submission, but his ’41 Chevy two-door sedan, named “Autumn,” is painted to match fall colors. Because banana palms are green all year, Don’s daughter hand-painted a mural depicting a fall scene on the trunk lid.
