COVER PHOTO CONTEST
Wayne and Leanne Helton visited this old general store they had heard many stories about over the years and decided the image of their ’54 Chevy Sedan Delivery parked out front would work for the Cover Photo Contest. The gorgeous sedan cruises around Louisville, Kentucky, under 454/700R4 power and 18-inch front and 20- inch rear US Mags to set off the brown and copper paint.
“Swabbie” was featured in the June 2023 issue of StreetScene and Louie Mayall’s photos inspired the owner of this ’40 Ford pickup to try his hand at the Cover Photo Contest. Gordon Harris hails from Seguin, Texas, and other than the PPG Checkered Red paint and Mark’s Custom Upholstery interior, he turned a rough ’40 into a showstopper. The wicked stance is a result of 17-inch Wheelsmith Artillery rims mounted with staggered Hankook tires and AirRide suspension.
