The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, has become a photo backdrop for many visiting rodders to the Nats North in Kalamazoo or those just cruising around America’s automobile birthplace. Ron Kline from Rochester Hills, Michigan, enlisted help from his friend Andy Walker to photograph Ron’s ’46 Plymouth convertible in front of the museum’s ‘30s Shell Station.
Dale Boyd cruises Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and submitted a photo of his real- deal, un-chopped ‘Henry Ford’ stamped ’32 Ford five-window coupe with rumble seat. The street rod uses proven Chevy 350/350/8-inch drivetrain. The car won Jerry Kennedy’s Pick at Nats North in 2005 and was rebuilt in 2010. Jerry Kay owned this outstanding street rod for 61 years and he chose Dale to be the next care giver. He’s upgrading, but also keeping it the same as it has been all these years.
