With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Eileen Payette of Rockland, Ontario (formerly of Campbell’s Bay, QC), on June 23, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Denzel Payette. Loving mother of the late Doreen Sullivan (Mike), Thomas (Louise) Rockland, ON; Randy, Barrhaven, ON; Colleen, Gatineau QC. Cherish Granny of the late Robyn Sullivan, Corey Sullivan, Jade, Nicole and Francesca Payette. She was very proud of her grandchildren. She was an avid reader. “In books I have traveled, not only to other worlds, but into my own.” She was loved by everyone she met. Thank you to the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home and HGH for their care and compassion. A Private Family Funeral will be held at St. James Cemetery in Portage du Fort, Quebec at a later date.
