Osnovan 1891. godine, Skansen nije samo prvi mu- zej na otvorenom na svetu već i najstariji. Ovaj park ilustruje pet vekova švedske istorije kroz izložbu od 150 istorijskih domova i salaša iz različitih delova Švedske. Posetioci mogu da se prošetaju crkvom iz 18. veka, seoskim imanjem iz severne Švedske i grad- skom četvrti, koja se sastoji od različitih domova i prodavnica iz 18. i 19. veka. Founded in 1891, Skansen is not only the world’s first open- air museum, but also its oldest. e attraction depicts five centuries of Swedish history through the showcasing of 150 historical homes and farmsteads sourced from different parts of Sweden. Visitors can stroll through an 18 th -century wood- en church, a farmstead from northern Sweden and a town quarter consisting of various 18 th - and 19 th -century homes and shops. Skansen is also home to a zoo featuring 75 differ- ent species and breeds of Scandinavian animals, including wolverines, otters and Scandinavian brown bears, to name but a few. And if you start feeling peckish during your tour, Skansen has as many as five fine and casual dining options to choose from.
