6. AVGUSTAUGUST 1928. Endi Vorhol je došao na svet Endi Varhol, jedan od najuticajnijih umet- nika u drugoj polovini 20. veka, rođen je kao Endru Varhola u Pitsburgu, Pensilva- nija. Krhak i sitan čovek sa srebrnopla- vom kosom bio je pionir pop-art pokre- ta šezdesetih, ali je kasnije prerastao tu ulogu i postao kulturna ikona. ANDY WARHOL ENTERS THE WORLD Andy Warhol, one of the most influential artists of the second half of the 20 th cen- tury, was born Andrew Warhola in Pitts- burgh, Pennsylvania. A frail and diminuti- ve man with a shock of silver-blond hair, Warhol was a major pioneer of the pop art movement of the 1960s, though he la- ter outgrew that role to become a cultu- ral icon.
