CORNHOLE
EQUIPMENT The NVGAG will provide the cornhole platforms and cornhole bean bags for this event. COMPETITION The competition will be setup in single elimination format. The game will be played best two (2) out of three (3) games to 11 points with a 10-minute time limit for each game. Athlete A competes against Athlete B. Players start the game at the headboard and will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all (four) of his/her bags. Ambulatory players will switch sides after each round and wheelchair and visually impaired players will switch after each game. The NVGAG reserve the right to change the tournament format for any age division based on entry numbers, space restrictions, or other circumstance.

The method of scoring is “cancellation” scoring, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Tapping method on the platform will be used for the visually impaired. Athletes must have their front casters behind the foul line and feet must not touch the ground during the pitch.
Using this method, one player can score in each frame.
• Each woody is worth one (1) point. • Each cornhole is worth (3) points.
EVENT RULES 1.
All participants will have a four-minute warm-up before the start of their first match only. 2. First pitch, bag color and side they will start from will be determined by the toss of a coin.
