Archery – All Divisions What is archery? Archery is the sport of shooting arrows with a bow at a target. Archery is one of the oldest sports and is closely linked to the development of civilization. It was historically used for hunting and combat, but today it's mainly a recreational activity and competitive sport. What to expect: Athletes can expect to participate in a 90-minute experience receiving 45 minutes of instruction and the remaining time to practice the skills learned. Athletes cannot use their own archery equipment. Athletes must use equipment provided by the Golden Age Games. Personal equipment will not be allowed. Format subject to change based on the number of entries. Disc Golf – Wheelchair Division What is Disc Golf? The sport of Disc Golf is like regular golf, but participants will use a disc to aim at a Disc Pole Hole, placed in the ground with a basket made of chain. Participants want to complete the 6-9 holes in the fewest number of throws. Distances will vary per hole. Volunteers will assist athletes with keeping score and navigating through the course. What to Expect: Athletes will travel to a local disc golf course and participate in six (6) holes of disc golf. The disc golf course has concrete sidewalks and hard, flat grassy areas for each hole. The Golden Age Games will have discs for Veterans to use or they may bring their own discs.

What is E-Sport? Esports, short for electronic sports, is a type of competition that involves playing video games in a competitive setting. Esports are organized, multiplayer video game competitions where players compete individually or as teams.
