Downloadable maps of each sub-region are also available to help visitors plan their weekend.” This year’s event sees established producers Mapleton and Stargazer opening new tasting facilities in the Coal River Valley. 2026 also sees several new producers join the event including the architecturally-inspired Sisu, Petrichor and Birdhill Vineyards in the Coal River Valley. By Chance Wines, Future Perfect and the historic Mount Direction Estate have also joined in the Hobart region, adding to the terrific diversity of the lineup. “Our Estate has a rich history of fruit production and we are proud to be bringing it back to life,” says Simone Creagh, Partner in Mount Direction Estate who will join the Open Vineyards lineup for the first
