Harvey Group was appointed by main contractor Ganson Group to deliver the full MEP services package for the five- storey dual-branded hotel/aparthotel in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. The project presented a challenging work environment including a tight site with limited space for logistics and material handling, condensed construction programme and a significant volume of services requiring careful coordination across a dense multi-storey structure. Ryan McLernon, Director, says, “A particular technical challenge was the installation of a state-of-the-art hot water generation system using Q-ton CO2 air-source heat pumps, a technology that demands precise design coordination
and commissioning to perform as intended.
