Hospitality fit out Stephens Catering Equipment was appointed by Ganson to deliver the complete commercial kitchen and bar fit out for the new Aloft and Residence Inn in Belfast. The project involved the design, supply and installation of a comprehensive catering solution to support the hotel’s busy food and beverage operation. The kitchen was equipped with Rational iCombi Ovens, a Falcon cooking line, Hobart dishwashing and glasswashing systems, ScanBox food transport equipment for the

satellite kitchen, and bespoke cold and freezer rooms. Behind the bar, Osborne low-level bottle coolers and Gamko bottle coolers were installed. Catertherm hot and cold drop-in units with bespoke stainless- steel surrounds provide an attractive and efficient servery solution. Stephens’ in-house fabrication department manufactured all stainless- steel items, including bespoke tabling and fabrication, ensuring a high- quality finish throughout the project. Bespoke bedroom joinery
Potter Cowan was appointed to deliver a bedroom fit-out package within the Residence Inn, including the manufacture and installation of bespoke bedroom joinery. This included kitchenettes with integrated appliances, TV/media units, wardrobes, luggage racks, headboards and feature screens. In addition, its team designed, manufactured and installed a striking timber feature ceiling within the Aloft Hotel entrance, creating a welcoming focal point for guests. Delivering a premium-quality fit out within a fast-paced construction programme required close collaboration with Ganson and the wider project team. Careful coordination with other trades, proactive planning and effective communication ensured the programme was maintained without compromising on quality. Hamilton Dock represents Potter Cowan’s first hotel project. Building on decades of experience delivering high-quality residential joinery solutions, the project demonstrates the company’s ability to successfully transfer its craftsmanship, technical expertise and attention to detail into a new market.
