Full electrical services O’Hara & Harrison Ltd was appointed to deliver a complete electrical services installation for the project. Its scope covered general classrooms, specialist teaching areas, a SEN suite, PE hall, administration offices, staff facilities and double-height general-purpose room, together with a first-floor link corridor to the existing school, external services, site lighting and supporting infrastructure. Liam O’Hara, Managing Director, says, “A key challenge was installing services around live underground and overhead utilities within an operational school environment. Through detailed planning, careful sequencing and close coordination with Woodvale Construction, the design team and utility providers, we protected existing infrastructure and kept works progressing safely and on programme. “Working alongside Woodvale Construction was a genuinely collaborative experience, built on open communication, regular progress meetings and a shared commitment to quality and safety. “The completed installation provides Moville Community College with a modern, reliable electrical infrastructure that will support students and staff for generations — strengthening our track record in the education sector and standing out as one of the most technically complex projects in our portfolio.”
