54 UNLOADING
3. Set Gate Stops to desired setting. 4. Immediately before unloading, turn the main power switch (under the red cover) for the gates to the “ON” position which places the solenoid in the neutral position. The gates can now be operated by switches inside the cab, or by the buttons located on the side of the trailer.
Do not load or unload the trailer without proper support. The trailer may become unstable and damage may result.
5. Activating the “Open” button for the desired trailer which exhausts air from the closed side of the cylinder, and applies air to the “open” side of the cylinder causing the gates to open. The weight of the product will cause the gates to open more than might be expected. 6. To regulate the flow of product, the closed side of the cylinders must be activated. In order to maintain a constant product flow, the switches must be cycled on and off repeatedly once the desired rate has been reached. This may not be necessary if gate stops are used. 7. Verify that all product has emptied from the trailer. 8. Activate the “Close” button, to return the gates to the closed position. 9. Gate locks will reset automatically upon closing (if equipped)
BEARING PLATES GATE BEARING Use caution when pulling a trailer over a windrow pile. Pull the trailer straight. Pulling the trailer at an angle can bend or break the Bearing Plates, forcing the gates out of alignment.
