Rappahannock Community College’s navigators are ready to help you enroll in summer and fall classes. The highly anticipated Back 2 School Block Party and Community Resource Fair is just around the corner, promising an afternoon packed with fun and essential support for everyone! This incredible event is designed for the whole family, so gather the kids, neighbors, and friends to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, games and giveaways. Beyond the entertainment, attendees can pick up school supplies for the upcoming academic year. A wide array of resource vendors will be on hand to connect you with community services, alongside retail options, delicious offerings from various food trucks, and even a free lunch provided specifically for students.

For fall, enrolling early helps you get the schedule you want and stay on course for your goals. From welding to patient care, liberal arts and sciences to diesel and CDL, find your path at RCC. The Gloucester Resource Youth Team (GRYT), in conjunction with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula, is hosting a Youth and Family Resource Fair on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club in Hayes, Virginia, located next to Kroger. This community event is an opportunity for families to connect with multiple organizations that serve youth, including local sports leagues, community engagement and local services, and other programs and camps. Attendees will have access to information and sign-up opportunities, along with interactive sports and games and workshops from local organizations designed to provide hands-on experiences for kids. This is a great chance for families to explore available community resources and engage directly with providers in a welcoming environment.
