RECREATION CAMPS
GYMNASTICS CAMPS Head Coach: Caitlyn Coltrain. For ages 4-16. We are offering two weeks of 2- day camp for gymnastics for all ability levels. We will work on bars, beam, floor, vault and trampoline. ALL campers must be potty trained. Botetourt Gymnasium. June 22-25 - Deadline June 15 July 13-16 - Deadline July 6 PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS June 15-18 | 9 a.m.-12 p.m. or 1-4 p.m. | $85 | T. C. Walker Auditorium For ages 7-17. Under the direction of Karen Scalf. We offer a Disney themed camp for ages 7-11 and a Broadway Musical Theater Camp for ages 12-17. Bring water and snack. BEAVERDAM PARK KAYAK ADVENTURES Monday-Thursday | 9 a.m.-1 p.m. | $85 | Ranger Station
For ages 10-15. Campers will learn the basics of water safety and Kayak operation. Proper paddling strokes, planning and adventure and self- rescue will be covered. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and plenty of water. You will get wet! Wear water shoes, modest bathing suit or shorts and t-shirt, bring an extra set of clothes and a towel for after. Weather dependent, Fridays are a make-up day. You may sign up for one week only.

Introduce your child to the world of Field Hockey or hone their skills before the start of the fall season. We're offering three exciting theme weeks designed to spark curiosity and build a love of the natural world. Explore the tiny but mighty world of insects and other invertebrates, discover fascinating facts about animals at Beaverdam Park, or test your skills during our Survivor week with outdoor challenges and teamwork activities. DRAWN TO NATURE CAMP - AGES 11-17 Monday-Thursday | 9 a.m.-1 p.m. | $85 | Whitcomb Lodge Do you love art, writing, or nature? Join us for a four-day nature journaling camp! Each camper will receive their own sketchbook and drawing supplies. We will create nature journals documenting the amazing plants and animals of the Gloucester County Parks! Our camp will take place across the Gloucester County Parks, and we will have special guest talks from the Virginia Master Naturalists and VIMS! DATES: July 27-30 | deadline 7/20
