المتكاملة، التزام الإمارة الراسخ بدعم الإنتاج الثقافي وفتح قنــــــوات الحوار البنّاء. كما تجسّــــــد مشــــــاريع ترميم المواقع التاريخية، وفي مقدمتها مشروع “قلب الشارقة”، إلى جانب الأبحــــــاث الأثرية المســــــتمرة في مليحة، تفانيًــــــا مماثلا في حماية الإرث الإنســــــاني وصونــــــه، بالتزامن مع تحفيز الإبداع المعاصــــــر وتوفير البيئة الحاضنة له. ويبرهن هذا النهج على أن التعليم، والأدب، والفنون يمكن أن تشــــــكّل دعائم أساسية للحياة العامة، لا أن تظل أنشطة مكمّلة لها. ومن خلال استثمارات طويلة الأمد ودعم تشريعي متواصل، نجحــــــت الشــــــارقة في دمــــــج الحياة الفكريــــــة والثقافية في نســــــيجها المؤسســــــي والعام. كما رسّخ صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور ســــــلطان بن محمد القاســــــمي إرثًا مستدامًا أسهم في ترســــــيخ مكانة الشــــــارقة، على امتــــــداد المنطقة، حتى غدت عاصمة للثقافة ومركزًا للمعرفة. سمو الشيخ سلطان بن محمد بن سلطان القاسمي ولي عهد الشارقة نائب حاكم الشارقة يشــــــغل سمو الشيخ ســــــلطان بن محمد بن سلطان القاسمي، بصفته ولي عهد الشــــــارقة ونائب حاكمها، موقعًا محوريًا في قلــــــب المنظومة التنفيذية للإمارة، إذ يتولى ســــــموه رئاســــــة المجلس التنفيذي لإمارة الشارقة، ويقود جهود التنسيق بين الدوائــــــر والهيئات الحكومية، بما يضمــــــن تحويل التوجهات الاســــــتراتيجية إلى خطط عمل تشغيلية، وترجمة السياسات طويلة الأمد إلى نتائج ملموسة تُنفّذ بكفاءة ومسؤوليةٍ. وتتســــــع نطاقات مسؤوليات ســــــموه لتشمل قطاعــــــــــــــــــــات البنيــــــــــــــة التحتية، والخدمات العامة، والتخطيط الاقتصادي. ويضطلع المجلس التنفيذي بمراجعة التشــــــريعات والقوانين، واعتمــــــاد الموازنات العامة، وتنســــــيق الأولويات بين مختلف القطاعـــــــات، بما في ذلك التطوير الحضري، والنقل، والتعليم، والاســــــتثمار، والخدمات الاجتماعيــــــة. وقد ركّز المجلس في الســــــنوات الأخيرة، بشكل خاص، على الإصــــــــــــــــــــلاح الإداري والحوكمة الرقميـــــــة، تلبيـــــــة لمتطلبات الكفاءة، والشفافية، والقدرة على التكيف في بيئة عمل تتزايد فيها أهمية البيانات ودورهـــــــا فـــــــي صنـــــــع القـــــــرار.

الأعمال الثقافية، في تعزيز الحضور الأدبي الدولي للشارقة، فيما وسّعت الشيخة حور القاسمي، عبر قيادتها للمشهد الفني المعاصر، آفاق الحوار الثقافي الذي تخوضه الإمارة مع العالم. كما يرفد الشيخ سلطان سعــــــــود القاسمي، من خلال أبحاثه ونشاطــــــــــــــــه الأكاديمي في مجـــــــــــــــال الفن العربي الحديث، المشهـــــــــــد الفكري والثقافـــي الذي تتميــــز به الشارقـــــة علـــــى المستويين الإقليمي والدولي. صاحب السمو الشيخ الدكتور سلطان بن محمد القاسمي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الشارقة على مدى أكثر من خمســــــة عقودٍ، وضع صاحب الســــــمو الشيخ الدكتور ســــــلطان بن محمد القاسمي التعليم، والتاريخ، والبنية التحتية الثقافية فــــــي صدارة مســــــيرة التنمية في إمارة الشــــــارقة. وينطلق ســــــموه في قيادتــــــه للعمــــــل الحكومي من انضبــــــاط فكري رصيــــــن، يعكس خلفيته أكاديميًّــــــا، وباحثًا، مؤرخًا، ومؤلفًا لأكثر من ثمانين كتابًا، مؤكدًا على أن البحث، والتوثيق، وصون التراث هي الركائز الأساســــــية للحياة العامة. ، ضخّت الشــــــارقة اســــــتثمارات 1972 ومنذ توليه مقاليد الحكم في عام مســــــتدامة وممنهجة فــــــي المتاحف، والمكتبات، والمســــــرح، ومبادرات النشــــــر، والجامعات، لتؤســــــس بذلك نموذجًا فريدًا تنصهر فيه المعرفة والثقافة ضمن البنية المؤسسية للدولة. وبتوجيهات ســــــموه ورؤيته الحكيمة، تحولت الإمارة إلى مركز يحظى باعتــــــراف دولي في مجالي التعليم والفنون. فقد أســــــهمت مؤسســــــات أكاديميةٌ، مثل جامعة الشــــــارقة والجامعة الأميركية في الشــــــارقة، في توسيع آفاق التعليم العالي، فيما عززت مبادرات ثقافية بارزة، من بينها بينالي الشــــــارقة، ومعرض الشــــــارقة الدولي للكتاب، وشــــــبكة المتاحف

That emphasis has informed the wider responsibilities held across the family, extending through universities and publishing houses, museums and art foundations, executive councils and interna- tional partnerships. Sharjah’s cultural and educational profile has received international recognition, including UNESCO designations and continued global engagement through its book fair and biennial platforms. These out- comes reflect long-term planning and public investment. Within this structure, individual members of the family oversee distinct portfolios across government, heritage, contemporary art, publishing and inter- national relations. The Ruler’s emphasis on scholarship and preservation remains central to the emirate’s direction. The Crown Prince oversees executive coordination and administrative continuity within government. HE Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi’s work in publishing and cultural entrepreneurship has strengthened Sharjah’s international literary presence, while HE Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi’s leadership in contemporary art has expanded the emirate’s global cultural dialogue. HE Sheikh Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi’s research and academic engagement in modern Arab art further contribute to Sharjah’s intellectual and cultural profile. His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah For more than five decades, HH Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasi- mi has placed education, history and cultural infrastructure at the centre of Sharjah’s development. Trained as a historian and author of more than eighty books, he approaches governance with intellectual discipline, em-
phasising research, documentation and preservation as foundations of public life. Since assuming leadership in 1972, Sharjah has steadily invested in museums, librar- ies, theatre, publishing initiatives and universities, es- tablishing a model in which scholarship and literacy are embedded within the structure of the state. Under his guidance, the emirate has developed into an internationally recognised centre for learning and the arts. Institutions such as the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah have expanded access to higher education, while initiatives including the Sharjah Biennial, the Sharjah International Book Fair and a comprehensive museum network reinforce the emirate’s commitment to cultural production and critical dialogue. Historic restoration projects, including the Heart of Shar- jah, alongside sustained archaeological research in Mlei- ha, reflect a parallel dedication to safeguarding heritage while fostering contemporary creativity. His Highness ’ governance demonstrates how education, literature and the arts can function as pillars of public life rather than supplementary pursuits.
