سمو الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس ديوان الرئاسة للشؤون التنموية وأسر الشهداء يرتبط اسم سمو الشيخ ذياب بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان ارتباطًا وثيقًا بجهود دولة الإمارات في مجالات العمل الإنساني والتنمية. ومن خلال رئاسته مجلس الشؤون الإنسانية الدولية، يشرف على تنسيق عمل عدد من المؤسسات الوطنية المعنية بالمساعدات، بما يضمن تكامل جهودها واتساع أثرها على المستوى العالمي. كما يتولى رئاســــــة مجلس أمناء مؤسسة إرث زايد الإنساني، وصندوق أبوظبي للتنمية، وهما مؤسستان تضطلعان بدعم مشاريع البنية التحتية، والتنمية الاقتصادية، وتقديم المساعدات في مناطق متعددة من الشرق الأوســــــط، وإفريقيا، وآســــــيا. ومن خلال هذه الأدوار، يسهم في ترسيخ نهج إماراتي يجمع بين الاستجابة الإنسانية الفورية والاستثمار طويل الأمد في التعليم، والرعاية الصحية، وتعزيز الاستقرار الاقتصادي. وإلــــــى جانب ذلك، يشــــــغل منصب نائب رئيس مؤسســــــة زايد للأعمال الخيرية والإنســــــانية، مواصلا إرثًا إنسانيًا أسسه الشيخ زايد، يمتد أثره من دعـــــــــــم الخدمات الصحيــــــــــــة، والإسكــــــان، إلى برامـــــــــــج التعليــــــم والرعاية الاجتماعية.

As Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, he oversees coordination among several national aid institutions, ensuring that the country’s humanitarian programmes operate with stra- tegic alignment and global reach. He also chairs Erth Zayed Philanthropies and the Abu Dhabi Fund for De- velopment, institutions that support economic development, infrastruc- ture projects and humanitarian assistance in countries across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Through these roles, he contributes to the UAE’s long-standing approach to international aid, combining emergency re- lief with longer-term investment in education, health systems and eco- nomic resilience. In addition, Sheikh Theyab serves as the Vice Chairman of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, continuing a legacy of phil- anthropic engagement established by Sheikh Zayed.
