Students will also select ONE of the following Achievement Standards, based on strengths and interests: • AS 91215 (4 credits – external) Discuss a drama/theatre form or period with reference to text. • AS 91217 (4 credits – internal) Examine the work of a playwright. • AS 91218 (5 credits – internal) Perform a substantial acting role in a scripted production. • AS 91220 (4 credits – internal) Script a scene suitable for drama performance. • AS 91221 (4 credits – internal) Direct a scene for drama performance. The assessment of practical skills and attitudes to practical situations will form a major part of the total assessment, alongside written description and analysis.
