SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2025 LOW

Sustainability Report | 2025

FOREWORD FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR

beginning, in the way we use resources, treat people, design products, manage risks and prepare the company for the future. This is reflected in our mission, our management systems, our strategic priorities and our five-year direction. Waste, electricity, water, carbon footprint and inclusivity are not distant ESG topics for us; they are practical choices that affect our business every day. Do we have ESG policies (environmental, social, ethics) approved at management level? Yes. We have policies and commitments supported at management level, because good intentions must become clear standards and ways of working. Our Environmental Commitment, signed on 29 December 2023, covers zero waste, water and energy reduction, lifecycle responsibility, compliance, renewable energy, sustainable purchasing and stakeholder engagement. On the social and ethical sides, we have policies on whistleblowing, human rights, anti- harassment and child labor, together with the Board-endorsed Group Code of Ethics and the Group’s Violence at Work policy. They matter because they protect people’s dignity and help ensure concerns can be raised safely and addressed seriously. How does Sofap balance business growth with environmental responsibility? I do not see business growth and environmental responsibility as separate paths. For Sofap, the challenge is to grow by becoming better: more efficient, more innovative, more conscious of our impact and more prepared for the future. In practice, this means reducing electricity consumption, improving monitoring through IoT sensors, using rainwater harvesting, continuing zero- waste and sludge-recycling initiatives, as well as developing more sustainable products and procurement practices. Some impacts, especially in imported supply chains, are difficult to control, but we focus on what we can influence and keep pushing step by step. How does Sofap ensure employee well- being, safety, and engagement? Sustainability starts with our own people. If employees do not feel safe, listened to, respected and supported, the rest of the message loses its meaning. Well-being is therefore not only about compliance

but about creating a workplace where people can contribute, grow and feel they matter. We support this through engagement surveys, mental and physical health support initiatives, first-aid training and corrective actions where needed. Employees have access to a doctor on site twice a week, we offer well-being initiatives like fruit distribution and health-month activities, and we do inclusion work with the Global Rainbow Foundation. What responsibility does Sofap have toward the community? Sofap is part of Mauritius, its towns, its people and its challenges. Our responsibility goes beyond selling products: we have skills, materials, know-how and people who can make a positive difference. This is the spirit behind initiatives such as Sofap Solider, the Petit Verger Prison visitors’ centre renovation, L’École des Peintres, the Sofap Eco Hub, vocational training, youth empowerment, community embellishment and Colour for Change. To me, community responsibility means improving what we can, whether it is a wall, a school, a public space, a skill, or simply people’s confidence in the future. How do you ensure transparency and accountability in leadership decisions? Transparency starts with honesty: being clear about what works, what has not worked yet and what must improve. Leadership decisions must rely on facts, controls and ethics, but also on the humility to listen and be challenged. We support this through management systems, financial controls, performance reporting, stakeholder dialogue and ethics reporting. Accountability means reporting progress, accepting responsibility, correcting courses when needed and ensuring people can raise concerns without fear. What message would you like to share with employees and stakeholders through this report? My message is simple: this journey belongs to all of us. Sustainability cannot sit with one department or one person alone; it must be embedded in how we work, make decisions, serve customers and care for each other.

Guillaume Jauffret Managing Director

Why Sofap started its sustainability journey? For me, Sofap’s sustainability journey started from a simple conviction: as an industrial company, we must think not only about what we produce today, but also about the impact we will leave behind tomorrow. Our products are present in homes, buildings and communities, and that gives us both an opportunity and a responsibility. Sustainability and circularity have therefore become part of our purpose, they’re not a separate project. The UN Framework for Sustainable Development, adopted in 2018, helped us structure that ambition: to grow while creating long-term value for society and future generations. How sustainability has been embedded into Sofap’s vision and decision- making processes Sustainability is now part of how we think at Sofap. It is brought in from the very
