SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2025 LOW

Sustainability Report | 2025

For the past five years, Sofap has organised an annual upcycling & recycling market, bringing together around 30 artisans and recyclers to showcase their creativity and innovation. Waste materials are transformed into unique and useful products, inspiring the community to adopt more sustainable consumption habits and raising awareness about circularity. Ultimately, this initiative helps shift mindsets away from the traditional linear “take-make-waste” model towards a closed loop model. Upcycling & Recycling market

In 2024 and 2025, some 315 students from Richelieu Government School, Petite Rivière Government School, École Familiale de l’Ouest, Cascavelle Government School, and Bambous Government School participated in an awareness campaign on local circular economy solutions and proper waste segregation practices. Highly interactive sessions empoweredthe children to become ambassadors of change, sharing what they had learned with their families and communities, thus extending the impact of the awareness beyond the classroom and school.
