To support this the University have created the new post of International Recruitment Liaison Manager. The role will manage external international recruitment team relationships to deliver international recruitment activity from first contact to application, application to acceptance and acceptance to enrolment. You will take full responsibility for training staff members and agents, identifying and compiling sales sources and communicating the university’s expectations

• Working within our external international recruitment teams to act as the voice of the University of Law.

• Training staff members and agents, identifying and compiling sales resources and developing quality assurance processes.

• Contributing to internal projects and developments aimed at improving the university’s international recruitment provision.

Reporting Line The International Recruitment Liaison Manager will report directly to the Head of Conversion and Recruitment Compliance with a dotted line into the Director of International Student Recruitment.

Specific Responsibilities

Training and Coaching

• Manage international recruitment team relationships to deliver international recruitment activity from first contact to application, application to acceptance and acceptance to enrolment • Develop training programmes and tools to upskill members of staff. Provide ongoing training materials for international recruitment teams and adhoc training in relation to new products and processes • Develop training programmes that are effective for international recruitment agents • Ensure that all relevant staff members are informed of regulatory standards that the university must adhere to and that all recruitment activity is compliant with these standards • Establish regular meetings and updates with international recruitment stakeholders to ensure communication and objectives are clear and effective • Provide clear, concise updates on developments throughout the recruitment cycle and guide the international recruitment teams on how they should tailor their engagement with students accordingly • Ensure that international recruitment activity embraces all relevant methods to engage with students • Work with internal stakeholders such as the Law Faculty, Business Faculty, Admissions, the International Visa Office and International Student Recruitment to ensure all relevant product and process knowledge is captured in in the training suite

Specific Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Develop and evolve guidelines around regulatory standards, communication quality and following set process • Work closely with the Student Recruitment Quality Assurance Officer to identify constructive feedback

Student Recruitment

• Work with the management staff of the external international recruitment teams to establish effective processes to improve recruitment performance • Work with Business Development Managers to ensure they have the resources and knowledge required to effectively recruit on the behalf of the university • Work with the Director of International Student Recruitment at the University to understand the university’s recruitment priorities and co-ordinate on all messaging and materials provided to external recruitment teams • Act as a primary point of contact for the external international teams when they have questions about products and processes • Utilise the insight you gain from working with the external recruitment teams to feed into international recruitment strategy • Provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback on recruitment performance to relevant stakeholders at the University • Work with colleagues in marketing and international student recruitment to ensure that messaging is consistent and accurate across all recruitment channels
